A source told British Newspaper The Sun that Dre and Jay-Z recorded their verses for an unnamed track for the final Detox album and there was space available for Beyonce to record the chorus. “The producer has worked on Detox for over a decade. He wanted the couple together,” said the insider.


Jay-Z and Beyonce have not recorded together since Hov’s American Gangsta album in 2007 on the song Pray and other hits like Hollywood and Crazy In Love.

Dr. Dre’s Detox album is a follow up to his project 2001, which was released in 1999, and is due later this spring, but no exact release date has been announced so far.
