Fiona has joined forces with the ex-Floetry songstress and the Southern soul singer Anthony David for BET’s second put together installment of their Music Matters Tour, while fans patiently wait for her new album to drop.
BET’s Music Matters Tour 2 hopes to give the audience a complete musical experience by having passionate heart felt meaningful lyrics combined with tasteful performances that will show why music still matters today.
The tour kicks off at the South Side Music Hall in Dallas, Texas on March 16 and it ends on April 17 at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
Melanie Fiona released a statement about her excitement in co-headlining the Music Matters Tour with Marsha Ambrosius. “I love Marsha Ambrosius -- I've loved her forever -- and we recently got to know each other a little better over the last year, so it was just a perfect union, great energy, great music on the tour, and we couldn't be more excited.”
Fiona’s second album, The MF Life, will be in stores worldwide this summer. Marsha Ambrosius’ solo album, Late Nights, Early Mornings is in stores now.
