Look out Apple, here comes Google again - this time with video chatting.
Google Talk, a new way to video chat on Android phones, will launch on the Nexus S in the next few weeks with the Android 2.3.4 updates, the company announced on their mobile blog. The service will eventually come to other Android devices in the future.
"You can now video or voice chat with your friends, family and colleagues right from your Android phone, whether they're on their compatible Android tablet or phone, or using Gmail with Google Talk on their computer," the company said.
And unlike Apple's video chatting software Facetime, Google Talk will work over Wi-Fi as well as 3G and 4G. The feature will also work when the video is paused and internet browsing is enables.
According to the Telegraph, Google Talk will also work on Android Honeycomb tablets and iPad competitors like the Motorola Xoom.
