An Illinois woman is looking to soak a luxury bathtub company for more than $50,000 in a lawsuit that claims she got stuck in one of its tubs for more than 30 hours.

Anna Cullen of western Illinois says she was prepping for a luxurious soak in her walk-in Premier Care in Bathing tub last September when she fell and became "wedged" in the front of the bath, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

After realizing she was stuck, Cullen tried to yank the drain stopper, but the chain broke, the suit says.

"She remained stuck in the walk-in tub and the water for more than 30 hours, and her inability to drain the water resulted in significant injuries to her skin," the suit, filed Monday in Cook County, says.

Cullen told the Sun-Times that she was unconscious and in shock when her daughter found her the next day.

"That was the lousiest $12,000 I ever put out," Cullen said. "I ended up in the hospital for four days, and then in a nursing home for three months."

Cullen claims that it was only the second time she used the tub and blames the South Florida deluxe tub company for the faulty drain.

The suit seeks more than $50,000 in damages, plus legal fees.
