(Reuters)We can't imagine this would be very comfortable: An Oregon woman who killed, gutted, and posed inside the carcass of her own horse was not found guilty of breaking any laws.
Jasha Lottin, a 21-year-old Portland resident, had been caring for a 32-year-old horse with her boyfriend. The animal's health was quickly declining, so the two decided to humanely shoot the animal, remove its innards, and eat it, according to MSNBC.com.
Before grilling up the horse meat, Lottin posed inside of the animal as well as outside of it, covered in its blood, guts, and organs. Her reasoning: She wanted to know what it felt like to be inside of a dead horse.
Lottin posted the pictures online and they were found by a North Carolina resident. Shockingly, authorities could not find any laws that she has broken.
Even so, that doesn't mean Lottin is in the clear; frighteningly, her mother said she has received death threats because of the pictures.
If Lottin wants to try fitting inside of another animal carcass, she should consider a Burmese Python.
The snakes are capable of fitting massive animals inside their slender bodies - including mammals as big as deer.
That's exactly what authorities found in the Everglades last month, when found a 16-foot-long Burmese Python; the snake, they discovered, had eaten an entire deer, according to Fox News.
Talk about a food coma - the doe weighed a whopping 76 pounds and stretched the snake's skin to a 44-inch girth after eating.
The snake isn't native to the Everglades, and is just one of several types of snake to invade the area - Rock, Burmese, and African Pythons have all been found slithering around the region, and they could wreak havoc on some of the indigenous wildlife.
