Maria Menounos isn't the only one with some aches and pains on this season of "Dancing With the Stars."

Melissa Gilbert was rushed to the hospital immediately following her performance Monday night after suffering a head injury, Us Weekly reports.

The "Little House on the Praire" actress, 47, performed an intense paso doble with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, but suffered whiplash and a mild concussion from her spin on the dance floor, her fellow contestants confirmed.

"She hit her head during her dance, and then after she felt a little dizzy so they took her to the hospital just to get checked out and make sure she was okay," Sherri Shepherd told Us. "I think she'll be alright, though."

Gavin DeGraw chivalrously "carried her down to the red room" after her performance because she was "too weak to walk," pro dancer Karina Smirnoff added.

Host Tom Bergeron told the audience that "Dancing" would have a full update of the situation on Tuesday's results show.

Gilbert later took to Twitter to update her concerned fans.

"I'm all right. Mild concussion and whiplash," she wrote. "Very soon I will be safely home resting and being taken care of."

Injuries on "Dancing With the Stars" are a common fact of life.

So far this season, Menounos has already suffered from two broken ribs and stress fractures on her feet. The "Extra" TV host hopped on partner Derek Hough's back for a piggyback ride off the stage after their performance.
