After 40 years of having a male host with a bevvy of female beauties showing off the prizes, "The Price is Right" is holding a search for its first male model. Unfortunately, the position is not permanent.

The search will begin with an open casting call in Los Angeles on Thursday, Aug. 30, where hopefuls will be interviewed and judged by the show's female models and producers. Those who are selected to move on will participate in a series of challenges that will air as a web series on PriceisRight.com and YouTube.com/PriceisRight.

Following the competition, the finalists will be revealed on the Friday, Sept. 28 episode of teh show and online voting will run through Thursday, Oct. 4. The winner will be chosen by viewers and will win a one-week modeling gig on the popular daytime game show, which will begin Monday, Oct. 15.
