Ex-Colts LB on Coby Fleener's parting shots: 'That's what little girls do'

No one encapsulates this offseason's free agency quite like Coby Fleener. The former Coltstight end signed a $36 million deal with the Saints. Just an average performer who put up OK numbers and got paid an insane amount on the open market.
Fleener is a little bit different, however, because he decided to take a blowtorch to his old teammates' effort, saying a lot of guys on the Colts last year were "along for the ride."
Former teammate Jerrell Freeman, now with the Bears, did not, um, appreciate his comments. Freeman went loose in a text message to Bob Kravitz of WTHR.com, saying it was "a bitch move" by Fleener to comment on former teammates.
“Fleener, he didn't have the [guts]. That [bleep] pisses me off. And he must've been looking in the mirror when he did the interview.
“I despise guys like that. That's what little girls do, talk about you when you're not around. I'm a grown man. If I see something I don't like, I'm going to go have a face-to-face convo with that player/players and we are going to get an understanding! I feel like I had a hand in building what's over there [in Indianapolis], so he's [bleeping] on me, too.
“That's a bitch move.
“You can print all that, brotha!"
Both of those bleeps are probably "s-words" right? Freeman also probably didn't say "guts."
But more or less he gave a safe for work evisceration of his former teammate. Fleener rolled out the door to New Orleans and threw a stink bomb behind him on the way out.
It's a pretty safe bet Freeman isn't the only one who didn't appreciate the tight end's comments.
Unfortunately for everyone involved the Saints and Colts aren't going head-to-head next year. Would've been fun to see how much effort Fleener's old teammates gave towards tackling him.
