(NYDAILYNEWS)Ford is giving John Cena a taste of his own five knuckle shuffle -- in the form of a lawsuit.

Ford filed suit against the WWE superstar in U.S. District Court in Michigan for violating his contract and "flipping" his custom-made 2017 Ford GT, WXYZ reports.

Cena was supposed to maintain ownership of the car for two years, but instead flipped it for $500,000 shortly after getting the vehicle, according to the lawsuit obtained by the outlet.

"Mr. Cena has unfairly made a large profit from the unauthorized resale flip of the vehicle, and Ford has suffered additional damages and losses, including, but not limited to, loss of brand value, ambassador activity and customer goodwill due to the improper sale," the lawsuit reportedly says.

The wrestler was informed he violated the contract and it appears he's looking to right the wrong with the car company. Ford wants Cena to turn over all the profit from the sale and pay for other damages as well.

"I completely understand and as stated am willing to work with Ford to make it right. My sincerest apologies," Cena reportedly said in the lawsuit.

The WWE superstar sold the car as a way to get cash to take care of expenses, according to the lawsuit.

A YouTube video posted in October showed Cena talking up the Ford GT and displaying both the interior and exterior of the car. Cena showed off the features of the car including the "roar" of the engine and a multifunctional buttress.
