The final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars premieres on Disney Plus on Feb. 21. Like other Disney Plus shows, the episodes will drop weekly. The seventh season is set to have 12 episodes.
The animated show takes place in the time between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, originally focusing on Anakin Skywalker and his padawan Ahsoka, but eventually expanding to a whole cast of characters, including the clones themselves. Clone Wars aired on Cartoon Network starting in 2008 and soon became incredibly popular. In 2013, though, Cartoon Network decided to “wind down” the series in order to focus on sequel series Star Wars: Rebels. Eventually the show moved to Netflix, where the sixth season premiered.
